At Orinotion Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”), we value transparency and fairness in all transactions. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms applicable to payments made via Razorpay and PayPal.

1. Nature of Services

Orinotion Private Limited provides digital marketing, website development, software development, consulting, and related professional services. These services involve immediate allocation of time, tools, and resources upon payment confirmation.

Accordingly, all payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written agreement, proposal, or invoice.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate or excess payment made by the client
  • Payment received for a service that Orinotion is unable to deliver
  • Refund eligibility clearly mentioned in a signed agreement or invoice
  • Cancellation approved before work has commenced (at Orinotion’s discretion)

All refund requests are subject to verification and internal approval.

3. Non-Refundable Payments

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, social media marketing, content marketing, paid ads) once initiated
  • Website, app, or software development once research, design, or development has started
  • Strategy sessions, audits, consulting, reports, or custom work
  • Delays caused by lack of client communication, content, approvals, or access
  • Change of mind after payment
  • Third-party expenses (ad spend, plugins, software tools, hosting, domains, licenses)
  • Payment gateway processing fees or taxes

4. Milestone & Advance Payments

For milestone-based or phased projects:

  • Payments for completed or active milestones are non-refundable
  • Advance payments reserve resources and are non-refundable once work begins
  • Remaining unpaid milestones may be cancelled upon written mutual agreement

5. Subscription & Retainer Services

For monthly retainers or recurring services:

  • Fees are billed in advance
  • No refunds for the current billing period
  • Clients may cancel future billing cycles by providing written notice as per agreed terms
  • Services remain active until the end of the paid period

This aligns with PayPal recurring payment guidelines.

6. International Payments (PayPal)

For international clients making payments via PayPal:

  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed in the original transaction currency
  • Currency conversion differences, PayPal fees, and bank charges are non-refundable
  • Orinotion is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations

7. Refund Request Process

All refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of payment.

  • Invoice number or transaction reference
  • Payment method used (Razorpay or PayPal)
  • Reason for the refund request

Requests submitted after 7 days may not be considered.

8. Refund Processing Timeline

If a refund is approved:

  • Processing time: 7–14 business days
  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method only
  • Payment gateway charges and taxes are non-refundable

This complies with Razorpay and PayPal refund policies.

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact Orinotion Private Limited before initiating a chargeback or dispute.

In case of a dispute raised via Razorpay or PayPal:

  • We reserve the right to submit project records, communication logs, invoices, and agreements as evidence
  • Services may be suspended until the dispute is resolved

This clause helps protect against misuse under gateway dispute mechanisms.

10. Cancellation Policy

Clients may request cancellation in writing. However:

  • Cancellation does not guarantee a refund
  • Any completed or in-progress work will be billed accordingly
  • Services will remain active until the end of the paid billing period

11. Policy Updates

Orinotion Private Limited reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
